The hip and exciting three-day culinary pop-up event will take place in Los Angeles, US, October 19-21 2022. This event will open a series of live pop-ups that will take place in the big cities around the world.

Tel Aviv Groove events will open with a stylish, happy, Tel Aviv-style culinary cocktail party, which will take place at Nua Restaurant in Beverly Hills. Our visiting sommelier Mr. Efi Kotz, will pour various superb wines from the Binyamina Winery’s portfolio, as well as Tel Aviv-inspired creative cocktails. Chef Yoav Schverd, chef and co-owner of Nua Beverly Hills, will host our visiting Israeli chefs – Chef Jonathan Sharvit and Chef Danna-Lee Berman in his kitchen, and together the three chefs will prepare a collection of delectable, small-plate beautifully presented gourmet dishes, inspired by the eclectic, innovative fusion cuisine of Tel Aviv. Throughout the party, an Israeli DJ will make sure everyone is in the mood for a Tel Aviv party, and guests will also be able to enjoy an exciting video- art presentation, of works by up-and-coming young Tel Aviv based artists, such as Jerry Shay-Sarig, Yirmi Amster, Gil Aviram and more.

The first gourmet dinner in the Tel Aviv Groove pop-up series will take place on the same day, October 19 2022, at Divino restaurant, an Italian-Croatian elegant and inviting restaurant, nestled off Sunset in the Barrington Court. Chef Goran Milic, who founded the restaurant in 1996, will Plan and cook the meal together with Chef Cobi Bachar, who will arrive especially for the event from Israel. Bachar and Milic together will plan a menu that will represent both cuisines, and offer guests delectable unique Mediterranean-Israeli dishes. Together with the chefs, sommelier Efi Kotz, who will arrive in L.A. especially for the event, will pair the wines for the dinner from the rich Portfolio of Binyamina Winery.

Located atop the Beverly Hilton, Sant’olina is a melting pot of Mediterranean cuisine with a Southern California spin. Chef Burt Bakman will host the Israeli MasterChef Finalist Jonathan Sharvit. The two brilliant chefs will create a vibrant, edgy and innovative Tel Aviv inspired menu, and each dish will be paired with Israeli wines from Binyamina Winery, chosen by the chefs together with visiting Israeli sommelier Efi Kotz.

Chef Adir Cohen and Chef Liad Ichiye serve a high-end kosher Mediterranean fusion cuisine in this new restaurant located in the heart of Los Angeles’s La Brea neighborhood. The up-scale, relaxed restaurant, will host Chef Danna-Lee Berman, who, together with Chef Cohen and Chef Ichiye, will create a Mediterranean gourmet dinner menu, accompanied by excellent wines from the Binyamina Winery’s portfolio, chosen by the chefs together with sommelier Efi Kotz, to enhance the fresh flavors.

Chef Dan Smulovitz is an expert in seafood and fish. In his intimate sefood restaurant located at the heart of Santa Monica, he serves an ocean to table driven menu, with innovative dishes that are anchored by the highest quality fish and freshest fruit and vegetables from local organic growers. Chef Smulovitz will host Israeli chef Cobi Bachar and the two masters will plan and cook together a gourmet Mediterranean celebration of fish and seafood.  The superb Israeli wines for this dinner, all from Binyamina Winery, will be chosen by the chefs together with our guest sommelier Efi Kotz.

The third and last day of the Tel Aviv Groove culinary pop-up event, will take place on the 21st of October. Chef Yoav Schverd will host Israeli Chef Jonathan Sharvit, in his Nua restaurant, located at The Crescent Hotel in the Heart of Beverly Hills, for a relaxed gourmet Kabbalat Shabbat dinner. Chef Schverd together with Chef Jonathan Sharvit, will plan and cook an innovative and colorful Tel Aviv-inspired edgy, innovative and colorful menu, which will be served with great Israeli wines from Binyamina Winery, as well as Tel Aviv inspired cocktails, created and paired together with sommelier Efi Kotz.
